Behind KAPÆRNA are the two of us—Fanny and Vera—sisters sharing a dream of creating something meaningful together.
KAPÆRNA was born from our love of aesthetics, symbolism, and detail. We wanted to create jewelry that is not only beautiful to wear but also embodies something personal. Each piece is designed to carry an intention—a daily reminder of exactly what you need most.
We are involved in every step of the process, from idea and design to the finished product. We are the ones who gives form to the jewelry, build the website, and pack every order sent to you.
We choose materials with care
When we created KAPÆRNA, it was important to us that the jewelry be made from materials that feel genuine and stand the test of time. We quickly noticed how common it is to see high prices for jewelry that doesn't always reflect the quality—something we refuse to compromise on.
This is why we use 925 sterling silver for all our pieces, finished with either rhodium plating to minimize oxidation or a thick layer of 18k gold plating designed to last, rather than wear off after just a few uses. Our jewelry is created to be worn often and for a long time.
For us, it is about the feeling of wearing something authentic—jewelry with weight, presence, and quality, not overpriced costume jewelry. We want you to feel confident that your KAPÆRNA piece is made to endure.
